Last Wednesday afternoon during a fierce thunderstorm, I braved the awful weather to pick up new colors of Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint! What fun we've had!
At Round Top we purchased a can of Louis Blue and we've used it on several things. These colors have been added to our Chalk Paint collection: Old White, Paris Grey, Emperor's Silk, Napoleon Blue and Aubusson Blue. Maybe we will be able to get more colors later. I wanted all of them. We will have to save our pennies! (And quarters and dollars!)
The paint is wonderful to use and the waxes are dreamy. The white wax is amazing. I love it all! Can't wait to show you what we've painted. I don't want to end up with all painted furniture, but it certainly is tempting to give some personality to some tired, dreary pieces. Stay tuned for photos.
If you haven't heard of Chalk Paint, check out the Chalk Paint website. Get a tissue and prepare to drool. Click here to read all about Annie and her paint!
Our weekend was gorgeous! Temps in the seventies and lows in the fifties. Who could ask for more than that in May in Texas! Certainly not me! We have been outside enjoying the weekend. Hope that all of you enjoyed your weekend too. Share your projects, please. We want to know what you've been doing. We have some catch up reading to do since we've lolly-gagged all weekend. =)
Hope all of you have a great week!
